Every once in a while I will see a movie that I think is wonderful. Yet when I try to discuss it with other individuals I can't even find anyone who as either:
1. Seen the movie or
2. Thinks it's any good.
Here are 5 movies that fit that category.
1. ocean's 12

Steven Soderberg's excellent sequel to Ocean's 11. There is a lot of humor in this movie. However, it comes fast and subtle and it's very under appreciated.
2. The Aristocrats
This movie is unusual in that the premise is a simple one. 100 comics telling the same joke in their own individual way. The joke is the most vial, distgusting thing you can image. However, the interesting thing for me is to see the comedians in their own element. These are truly talented people and their interpretations are all very interesting.3. Rushmore
I love all of Wes Anderson's movies. This was the first movie after the critically acclomended Bottle Rocket. It was also co-written by Owen Wilson who at the time was not very well known. The humor is well hidden and subtle. You have to work for it, but when you discover the jokes they are well worth it.4. Tristram Shandy, A Cock and Bull Story
If you like English comedy, like Extras on HBO or absolutely Fabulous on BBC you will love this movie. It's a movie with-in a movie as the plot is about a cast of a filming a movie and about halfway through you start to see behind the scenes. Hysterical. It took me 3 hours to watch this movie because I had to hit pause and rewind so many times.5. A Prairie Home Companion
I was wodering how they were going to interpret this long time running radio program to the big screen. I was woderfuly surprised. Watch it for Lily Tomlin and Merrill Streep's performance alone.
